Our natural sands harden on contact with air, so simply wet the area, brush in the product, and leave it to do the rest. Suitable for use by professional contractors and homeowners.
Better Value Jointing Grout
Other paving jointing compounds are sold in 12KG buckets at the same price. Our 20KG buckets gives you more premium quality product, saving you money. If you have any product leftover after use, just put it back in the bucket and cover with clean water. It will last for 12 weeks.
Our Joint-It Experts Top Tips!
- Joint-It Simple must be used on a permeable base. This is to allow water to drain through instead of logging on the top of your slabs. We recommend a 6:1 sand and cement base.
- Joint-It Simple is not suitable for V joints.
- Joints must be a minimum of 3mm wide and 25mm deep to ensure the product is secure.
- We strongly recommend Limestone and Honed Black Granite are pre-sealed prior to application of Joint-It Simple.
- While this product is low maintenance, all patios require some level of maintenance annually, particularly in shaded areas or after the winter. A quick application of Joint-It So Clean keeps your patio looking new and refreshed.
All outdoor surfaces require some maintenance when exposed to the changing weather conditions. We recommend cleaning your patio and joints with Joint-It So Clean every 3 to 4 months to keep it looking new. This will depend on how shaded your area is and how many overhanging plants there are. With our spray and go formula, Joint-It So Clean requires minimal effort for the best results.
Joints must be a minimum of 3mm wide and 25mm deep to apply Joint-It Simple. If the joints are smaller than this, we recommend using Joint-It Fine.
Slabs must be fully secure and unmoving prior to applying Joint-It Simple. Any movement in the slabs must be rectified before the jointing process.
Joint-It Simple can only be used where there is a permeable base. We recommend a 6:1 sand and cement base. If you are unsure if your base is permeable, run a hose for several minutes on the top of the paving. If the water drains through the joints after about 5 minutes, then the base is permeable. If the water logs on the top, then the base is not permeable.
When applying Joint-It Simple, take care to use plenty of water and remove all excess product from the top of the slabs at the end of the application.

Delivery
Delivery is free of charge to all UK postcodes and will usually arrive within 2-3 working days via DHL.
Delivery will normally be between Monday and Friday during the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and the company shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods however caused. The goods may be delivered by the Company in advance of the quoted delivery date and in advance of any other products you have ordered via Stone Paving Direct.
If the Consumer is not at home the driver will not leave the goods as there must be an authorised person to sign for and accept delivery.
Returns
If the consumer is not totally satisfied with the order for any reason, the Consumer has the right to cancel the order within 7 working days from the date of delivery for a full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges.
A cancellation request by the consumer must be put in writing to sales@stonepavingdirect.co.uk and received by the Company within the 7 working day period.
The consumer will be responsible for the return of goods and any associated costs of return. Refunds or credits for goods will only be made if goods are received back complete and in a re-saleable condition.
Returns must be made within 28 days and must be accompanied with a copy of the despatch note.
The consumer’s statutory rights are not affected.
