Here’s a fantastic commercial granite paving project completed with our quality granite paving – this railway station in China looks the part now it’s had a modern makeover!

Granite paving is absolutely ideal for commercial paving and plaza pavers, as the pictures of this front square of Shenzhen Bei High-Speed Railway Station demonstrate. This station and bustling public space now have the sophistication it deserves, serving the city of Shenzen and it’s 12 million residents (as well as tourists!).

This project uses a mix of silver grey granite paving slabs and blue grey granite paving slabs – the dimension of these slabs is 900 X 600 mm, and the depth is 100 mm.

The light colour seen in this photo is silver-grey granite G603, while the dark colour is blue grey granite G654 (also known as blue-black granite or graphite grey granite).

The photos were taken in overcast conditions 5 years after installation, proving that these stones stand the test of time without losing their charm!

A public space like this sees a lot of foot traffic, as well as torrential rain, nonetheless, our hardwearing granite paving slabs have remained in remarkable condition.
